The Best Classical Album On Reel To Reel Tape: Orchestre Mondial des Jeunesses Musicales - This recording of the World Orchestra of Jeunesse Musicales was produced during the latter’s stay in Canada on the occasion of the 21st Olympiad held in Montreal in the summer of 1976. The Orchestra took part in the official opening of the games. Classical Music On Tape: Mussorgsky’s stunning suite was written in honour of a painter friend and was inspired by a visit to an art exhibition. Each of the movements represents one of the drawings or artworks on display.
The depth and timbre in the sound of this recording of the Ravel orchestration was fully captured by the use of only two omnidirectional mics on 1/4" analog tape at 15 ips. Producer: Andre Clerk, Jean de La Durantaye and Recording Engineer: Jean de La durantaye. Refunds and Returns: By The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 we will refund or exchange goods returned to us within 14 working days. Goods must be returned in their original condition and the customer must pay the postage costs. If your item is damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us and let us know what has happened.
